Lunch period is from 11:35 a.m. until 12:25 p.m. Each student should bring a nourishing lunch and should be encouraged to eat all of it. Milk may be purchased for the year. St. Paul School is a peanut free school. Parents should not pack peanut butter or peanut products of any kind in students’ lunches. No cans or glass bottles may be carried in lunches. Teachers supervise the students during lunch and at recess. Most days, students will eat lunch in the gym in an orderly manner. Grades 1 - 6 will have recess before or after lunch. All refuse is put in the wastebaskets and tables are cleared before a class may leave the gym. Parents are asked not to bring special lunches for students unless approved by the principal. Should a child forget his/her lunch, one will be provided and the parents may reimburse the school.

Students may purchase a lunch at school. A limited menu will be established with sandwiches, bagels, and fruit along with several fruit juices. The school will continue our Pizza Lunch on Thursdays for those who wish to order pizza. The lunch menu and list of snacks will be sent to the parents at the beginning of the year.
